THE FTP² : This week at the VelloFollies show in Belgium, Van Rysel unveiled their all new FTP² concept Bike. Much like concept cars that foreshadow the future of the automotive world, the concept bike FTP² is a true rolling laboratory, unconstrained by current industrial standards.
“This is the most complex project ever carried out by the Van Rysel team, aiming to inspire the general public, as well as the bicycle industry, to continue pushing the boundaries to see what is possible.”
The concept ebike is centered around the new Mahle M40 motor with ETOR alloy spindle. So when Van Rysel reached out for help with cranks, we jumped at the chance. A close look at the FTP² you’ll see it is kitted out with our Praxis TYPE6 Carbon Road cranks for the ETOR spindle housed in the motor. The TYPE6 carbon arms shaped with a narrow sleek profile perfect for this custom build and it’s goals.
